CAVA MEZZO WINE CELLAR

Inside the labyrinthine cobblestone pavements, amongst tourist shops and jewelry stores is located the famous wine cellar MEJJO.

The grandfather of Mr. Alefragis Thomas(Tomazos) established it fifty years ago and passed it to his son, until it came to the hands of its current owner. Three generations have given their knowledge in the art of wine – making, producing high quality wine. Today Mr. Petinis using the latest technologies has managed to improve the taste of wine.

In his wine – cellar you will find a wide variety of local, traditional wines, such as Brusco, Nixteri, Mejjo, Roubini and the famous Vinsanto. Also traditional theran products like the famous fava and tomato suit, as and a selection of fine cigars.

Customers will have the chance to make a test wine before buying, in order to discover the best taste for their delicate palate.
